What is S4A Development?

S4A Development is a specialised football coaching programme focused on helping children grow both on and off the pitch. Sessions are designed to support technical skills, confidence, teamwork, and overall development in a fun and inclusive environment.

  • New to football
  • Looking to build confidence
  • Already playing and wanting to improve

Every child is welcomed and supported regardless of experience level

S4A Development offers a range of football opportunities, including:

  • Weekly Development sessions for children aged Year 3-Year 10 (school years)
  • Mini sessions for younger children Reception to Year 1 (School Years)
  • 1-to-1 coaching
  • Holiday clubs
  • Football-themed birthday parties

Childcare vouchers can only be used for Ofsted-registered childcare provision.

S4A Development football sessions — including weekly sessions, development centres, 1-to-1 coaching, and football holiday clubs— are delivered as sports coaching programmes, not registered childcare. Because of this, they are not Ofsted registered, and childcare vouchers or tax-free childcare cannot be used for these sessions.
